Today was the perfect day to get out the encaustic painting supplies and go outdoors. I worked on a few encaustic paintings today. I love to do this outdoors, since I need ventilation for this type of painting. I use beeswax, encaustic paints, and other supplies. I also use a heat gun, hot plate, and sometimes a blow torch. This is one of my NEW completed encaustic paintings from today...
