ART Class for the Brownies by Sue Marrazzo

Today, I taught an ART Class for one of the local Brownie Troops for their ART badge. The students were EXPERIMENTAL MIXED MEDIA ABSTRACT ARTISTS for the class. They painted, collaged, stamped, and more. 

It was a great class of Brownies, who followed directions to a T!

Today was Class #2 for the Girls Scouts. We took a tour of the Art Center, and had a drawing and painting ART CLASS. This was to finish up the girls requirements for their Art Badge. It was a busy group and LOTS of Fun, too! Please take a look at the photos to follow...

ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO TEACH ART TO A GROUP OF 10 GIRLS SCOUTS. THIS WAS TOWARDS THEIR ART BADGE. THIS IS PART ONE OF A TWO LESSON PLAN. THE GIRLS HAD THEIR OWN SUPPLIES, AND I PROVIDED THE INSPIRATION. WE DREW SHELLS, CORAL, STARFISH,  HORSES, DOGS, AND MORE. 

THE GIRL SCOUTS NOW HAVE SKETCH PADS TO PRACTICE IN.

 I TOLD THEM THE WAY THEY WILL GET BETTER AT DRAWING IS TO KEEP PRACTICING IN THEIR SKETCH PADS. IT WAS A LIVELY AND CREATIVE GROUP OF GIRLS. 

GREAT WORK TO THIS GIRL SCOUT TROOP!!!!
