We go to the fish market here often and I see "sepia." I had no idea that is where the color originally came from. I am learning quite a bit from your posts.
ReplyDeleteNow to your painting, I am intrigued by the ladder-type lines and the faint circle in the background. I very much like the turquoise weaving through what I view as steps into the circle. Your title is stimulating.

Steps and railing. The hint of a figure, that with the circle bring to mind Native American symbols to me. Ancient peoples. :)
