    I really like this piece, Sue, and don't think it's "overkill" at all! Hyperbole can be a very useful literary (and artistic) device!

    I really like this painting. The gold and grays especially caught my eye. Plus I really like how you used repetition and pattern. I need to do more of that in my own work.:)
