DAY #5: 30 PAINTINGS IN 30 DAYS
This is my 5th Mixed Media Painting. This work of ART has so many different techniques, layers and ART supplies in it. I found my INSPIRATION from a house paint broschure from the Home Depot. The colors were calling me, and I saw the chair image in my Blogger feed. It all came together. The last thing that I added to this painting was some found vintage ornate lace fabric. Take a look....

DeleteSo glad I followed your link from Leslie's blog, because when I tried to follow your link from my blog earlier, I ended up on Google+, where I cannot comment, because I am not a member. Anyhow, thank you for your kind comment on my blog. I am happy I landed here to see your beautiful work--you have quite the eye for color and balance. Love the collages. Lucky students you have! Enjoy the challenge...

Love this Sue! I know I often say that about your work, but I really do! This has such a wonderful, warm feeling to it. Wonderful textures. I don't know why I keep seeing quilts in these... maybe because I would like to wrap myself up in how these feel. :)
