SUE MARRAZZO VISITS GALLERY AT SECOND

Yesterday, I had an art-filled afternoon...it was GREAT! I was so inspired and filled with new ideas! I visited one of the galleries that represents my artwork here in PA! This gallery knows how to display, and hang the art to make it shine! I took in the current show, and visited the upstairs gallery. I currently have quite a few works upstairs! It's so interesting to see what my artist peers are doing and what artists are hanging with my work. Thanks to the owners for their continued support...It is invaluable, and truly appreciated! Here is a new collage created on a small deep sided canvas. I used book pages, a map, magazine papers, wallpaper, altered collage papers, found papers, acrylic paint, gouache and more. The sides are painted with a high gloss silver paint.

Artist Sue Marrazzo Shares " A Summer Collective"

This mixed media work was recently donated to a nonprofit group. I was asked to donate and this was the painting that was requested. I didn't hesitate, and I signed a certificate of authenticity and off it went. I know it will be used for good. I wish the group all the best in the future!

This mixed media collage was started as a demo in my Creative Collage Art Class. I finished it up with many layers and colors. In this work, I started with the focal point/subject. I actually found it on the floor at the Art Center where I teach.

Yesterday, I spoke at CAREER DAY at the Good Hope Middle School in Cumberland County. The students were very respectful, and really interested. After my talk about Art As A Career; I got to share my art. Last, all the students created their own collage Artist Trading Cards.
