I am still working on the Experimental Mixed Media Painting that I shared with my Blog viewers recently. I am layering and building colors and textures. The acrylic paints and mediums are in the process of curing and drying. I just wanted to share this step with you. I am so glad to be given some new art supplies to experiment with. Carlisle Arts Learning Center (CALC) in Carlisle, PA today.

Sue Marrazzo Starts An Experimental Mixed Media Painting

I am experimenting with some brand new professional acrylic paints, cutting edge acrylic mediums, Catalyst wedges, Catalyst brushes and more. The photos are the start of a new painting to come on canvas. I've created many textures and layers so far. I was painting outside which was a challenge...since it 30 degrees outside here in PA. It was kinda fun, and I like what is happening with this painting so far!
