A NEW Community ART Exhibit By Sue Marrazzo

I am in a Community ART Exhibit at a NEW Venue. It is is a NEW local business here in Central PA...Juice & Grind Cafe and Catering. This is through the Art Center School and Galleries, and runs until May 15, 2014. I am the first member artist to be a part of this community exhibit. In the future, there will be more members exhibiting in this fine business. I visited the cafe and took some photos of my ART on display in the Community Conference Room. "Shimmering Meditation" By Artist Sue Marrazzo

Here are 2 takes on one painting. This was painted the 1st way, but it also works when it is flipped! I used acrylic paints, acrylic mediums, and some experimental mixed media techniques. It really glows, and it has a touch of glitz! This is being shown in a local PA gallery. I visited the gallery over the weekend...and it placed with the perfect bit of light, so you can really see the glitz and highlights in this ABSTRACT PAINTING!

Life's Too Short To Be A Wallflower By Sue Marrazzo

This is an encaustic painting that I created with different collage papers and an image transfer. It has many layers and textures. This painting was created using beeswax, oil paint, resin and found collage papers. I use a hot plate, and heat gun in the process. This work was sold and will be a motto for it's new owner.

NEW YOUTH MIXED MEDIA ART BY SUE MARRAZZO

HERE IS A LOOK AT ONE OF MY CURRENT YOUTH MIXED MEDIA ART CLASSES. THE STUDENTS CREATED THEIR OWN PAINTED ART PAPERS. THEY USED TEXTURED HEAVYWEIGHT PAPER, WATERCOLORS, ACRYLICS, INKS, GLITTER PAINT, MEDIUMS, WATER,  AND MORE. THEN WE USED OUR HANPAINTED PAPERS AND CREATED A 

"HAPPY TRIANGLE" MIXED MEDIA PAINTING.

Modern Love Collage By Sue Marrazzo

Here is my 3rd work of art that is in the current Art Instructor's Exhibit. This is being shown at the Whitaker Center in Harrisburg, Pa until April 4, 2014. This is a group exhibit showing the many talents of the art instructor's where I teach at The Art Center School and Galleries of Mechanicsburg. It is one of the best venues to show in...there is a science center, an I-Max theater, a theatre, concerts, art and so much more. If you are in the area, please check out this annual exhibition.
