Here is a look into my Fall 2013 Youth Mixed Media Art Class. This is just one young artist at work. In class we started with collage using found papers and a paper pattern and collaged onto a masonite panel. Then the students sketched and painted their subject on watercolor paper. After the painting was dry, the students cut out their painting and attached it like collage paper. Then in the final steps each artist used found objects, stamps, punched papers, glitter and more to finish their one of a kind mixed media painting! Nice Work Class!
