ABOUT ME

ABOUT ME
Sue Marrazzo is an experimental artist who works in collage, mixed media, acrylic, encaustic painting and sculpture. Sue has exhibited in numerous local, regional, national and international juried shows and exhibits. In 2011, the artist started teaching at The Art Center School and Galleries. She currently teaches Collage, Abstract Painting and Experimental Mixed Media Painting.Sue also teaches Youth Mixed Media and instructs Youth Art Parties. Also she teaches private art lessons. She was the guest art instructor of Experimental Mixed Media at the Art Association of Harrisburg, PA for Fall 2012, and Winter 2013. The artist has won many awards, and juried acceptances..like the 2011 PA Art of the State, at the PA State Museum; and the 2010 Rottler Award of Excellence in Visual Arts, at the York Art Association. Her collages are featured in the National Collage Society's 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, & 2023 Juried Member's Annual Collage Calendar. Sue won the ISEA's Cutting Edge Award in the 2012 Annual ISEA Juried Show. In 2013 Sue received her Signature Status with The National Collage Society. Sue is also a Signature Member of The International Society of Acrylic Painters. In 2015, Sue became a Co-Owner of the Textured Art Gallery Community on G+. Sue has judged local, and national juried art shows. In 2016, Sue became a moderator of the Creating and Sharing Mixed Media Art Blog Community. In June of 2017 and 2018, Sue has teachesl mixed media art workshops at The York Art Association. In 2018, Sue had a solo art exhibit at the Whitaker Center in Harrisburg, PA. She was an exhibiting artist in the 2018 Mount Gretna Outdoor Art Show. In 2020, Sue will be teaching in 3 venues: York Art Association, The Art Center School and Galleries, and Carlisle Arts Learning Center. In 2020, She received her 1st licensing contract to use Sue's abstract artwork in a mural in a large company. Sue earnaned her Signature Status with The Internatiol Society of Experimental Artists (ISEA) in August 2020. Sue continues to exhibit her work in many exhibits and shows. In 2023, Sue will be continue teaching, creating and sharing her love for Art. The artist is available to continue her skill as a juror. She has juried a variety of shows.
