Sue Marrazzo Teaches The Winter 2014 Youth Art Class

This coming week I will be starting my NEW Winter 2014 Youth Art Class at The Art Center School and Galleries. The class is a mixed media art class, 

called Mix-It-Up Painting, where we use different substrates, and many different mediums. It is a different lesson each week, and by the end of each class there is a finished WORK OF ART! Art Student Wins Award By Sue Marrazzo

Here is some news from one of my youth mixed media students. Maddie won 2nd prize for her mixed media "Bird Painting" in the Dillsburg's Farmer's Fair in the Fall of 2013. This was in the 5-8 years old category. 

She was so excited, and I am very proud of this talented young artist!

This is a small mixed media collage created with magazine pages, gum wrappers, book pages, music paper, junk mail, acrylic paint, found objects, gesso, and more. The colors are bright and it has a lot going on.....but IT WORKS!

BABY SHOWER - ART PARTY BY SUE MARRAZZO

This past weekend I taught an adult ART CLASS for Laurie's Baby Shower ART PARTY. This was held at the Art Center School and Galleries in Mechanicsburg, PA. www.mechanicsburgartcenter.com It was a group of 17, and it was both men and women. In this class we created a mixed media painting with found papers, found objects, acrylic paint, and acrylic mediums. The students did a great job and had some FUN, too!!!! All the paintings shown here are by the art class students.

Thursday Morning @ The ART CENTER By Sue Marrazzo

I teach ART Parties for youth and adults. This morning at the ART CENTER, www.mechanicsburgartcenter.com, I taught a Youth ART Class to the local MOMS Club. The students were 3 to 5 years of age, and they did quite well. We created a mixed media " I HEART Painting." We created this with paint, paper, stamps, and finished it off with a little glitz! I have wanted to share some of my Adult Students' ART from the Fall 2013 session...and now I have the time to do so. These are mixed media and collage works. I currently teach at The Art Center School and Galleries of Mechanicsburg, PA. And I will also be teaching at another venue for Winter 2014....I will be teaching in 2 places. How Exciting!!!
