I was the ART INSTRUCTOR for an ART PARTY at 

the Art Center School and Galleries, in Mechanicsburg, PA.

 I had 5 students and we made a MIXED MEDIA Painting yesterday afternoon. We collaged with papers, and then painted with acrylic paints. All 5 girls finished their Mixed Media Masterpieces, and took them home to share with their family!  This is the second time I did Evy's Party...It was LOTS of FUN and LOTS OF COLOR!

Coming to Brooklyn 2012 at the BWAC. 

The show runs September 22 - October 21 and is open on weekends from 1 - 6.

I will be included in the next Show at the Brooklyn Working Artists Coalition in Brooklyn. Last week I was in town hanging the show with other members of the Daily Painters of Pennsylvania. We are showing as a group in massive gallery space. the building is from the civil war era, and very rustic. The views outside the space are amazing...The gallery overlooks the River and the Statue of Liberty! I currently have 2 panels housing my collage and mixed media art work. It is such an honor to be exhibiting in this unique, and art-filled space.

THESE PHOTOS ARE TO PAY HOMMAGE TO ALL THOSE THAT DIED IN 9/11 AND THEIR FAMILIES. THANK YOU TO THE FIREFIGHTERS, EMT, POLICE AND ALL INVOLVED IN HELPING THOSE IN NEED ON THIS DAY OF REMEMBRANCE OF 9/11.

The photo of the F.D.N.Y. Truck was taken this weekend when I was crossing the Brooklyn Bridge. I never thought I would be using it to post on my ART BLOG. I also got a view of the FREEDOM TOWERS from the bridge too. 

The second photo, below, was taken in Brooklyn of Lady Liberty at the waters edge in Red Hook.

It was a beautiful day in NYC. It really set the tone of REMEMBERING this day!

I am in the last month of my 3 month solo art exhibit in the historic building of the Greater Carlisle Chamber of Commerce.
