PAINTING OUTDOORS BY SUE MARRAZZO

Today was the perfect day to get out the encaustic painting supplies and go outdoors. I worked on a few encaustic paintings today. I love to do this outdoors, since I need ventilation for this type of painting. I use beeswax, encaustic paints, and other supplies. I also use a heat gun, hot plate, and sometimes a blow torch. This is one of my NEW completed encaustic paintings from today...

 Title: "Forever A Dreamer"
Medium: Encaustic
Size: 12" x 12"

  3. I think you should work outside more often - not only because of the fumes, but because you have a lovely "airy" painting here! Love this piece!

  4. I love this one. The colors, the contrasts and the translucent textures of the beewax.
